Satoshi: It's a toxic world. It's good to recall the words of the late D.O.Hebb, "nets that wire together, fire together"[1]
Gail: Thanks for that clarification. You certainly explained to our investors why Neuro-tik Technologies is a sure bet.
Satoshi: I’m glad. This might sound strange. In my opening moments as a graduate student, no one, of course, thought this was wise or interesting. My research was a drop in the big ocean of A.I. My work was mostly funded by one organisation, probably before your time, the now defunct National Science Foundation of the United States Government. It was funded based on the belief that if we could put model brains in machines perhaps we could learn about brains. Soon we found out otherwise. Nature has an architecture that far exceeds silicon, and the ability to directly join the intuitive and non-deterministic modes of decision-making in the organic brain to highly trainable, extremely vast, and computationally rapid computer systems opened up new frontiers. We are also working on hive and social insect models and fish schools to develop new forms of robots and bio-drones (literally) which can learn and build complex structures for industry, logistics, and housing in the most optimal way. The ultimate applications will stretch from the market to the moon. We transform decision-making and make cognition scale-able.
