Maroš Krivý, Urban Historian and Theorist

Maroš Krivý is Associate Professor and Director of Urban Studies at the Faculty of Architecture, Estonian Academy of Arts. He was previously Research Associate at the Department of Geography, University of Cambridge. He is a writer, urbanist and historian working on a critical history of systems thinking in urbanism. His work has been published, or is forthcoming, in leading journals such as Planning Theory, Architectural Histories, Journal of Architecture, Perspecta, Footprintand Avery Review, and in many collections such as Neoliberalism: an Architectural History (University of Pittsburgh Press, 2020) and Urban Platforms and the Future City (Routledge, 2021).
