Leo Hollis is an urbanist and historian. He lives in London and has written two books about the city: The Phoenix and The Stones of London. His last book, Cities are Good for You: The Genius of the Metropolis, was an international best seller. He lectures regularly around the world on the future of cities and the relationship between politics, urbanism and technology. He is senior editor at the radical publishing house Verso, where he works with leading architects, theorists, and technologists. He has been investigating the rise of democratic threats emerging from the increasingly networked urban environment, and the politics of land. He blogs at www.medium.com/@leohollis.
