Jochen Becker (Berlin) works as an author, curator and lecturer. He is the co-founder of metroZones | Center for Urban Affairs and the station urbaner kulturen. Most recently, he curated Chinafrika. under construction (Graz, Leipzig, Weimar, Shenzhen, Nürnberg). He is currently advising the relocation of the Düsseldorf Theater FFT in terms of cultural policy, concept and curatorial work and is developing the project City as Factory and Place Internationale (2017-21) as well as the metroZones-exhibition ‘Mapping Along’ (Kunstraum Kreuzberg/Bethanien, 2021). He is active in Berlin vs. Amazon.
